With banks failing left and right and the stock market crashing, what’s an investor to do? Perhaps acting as your own bank may be an interesting and unique way of investing in passive real estate in a philanthropic manner? In this podcast, company CEO Jaime Gomez from “Equity and Help” explains how his company is allowing you to do just that – and keeping families in their homes in the process as well.
Listen to “Equity and Help: Philanthropy and Real Estate Investing” on Spreaker.
Founded in 2014 by Philanthro Investors‘ Ivan Anz, the goal of “Equity and Help” is to stabilize families and revitalize neighborhoods while raising consciousness of help in the investment world. Wanting to help investors grow their capital while helping others, Ivan noticed a trend in the United States following the financial collapse of 2009. Foreclosures in the country were soaring, and the number of families without their own homes rapidly accelerated. Ivan wanted to find a solution to this problem, and with the help of a group of veteran real estate investors, he was able to do just that.
As Mr. Gomez explains on the podcast, his company allows the investor to become the bank for the family. All properties are held in individual land trusts for the investors’ asset protection. “Equity and Help” acts as the trustee and provides ALL services to give their investors a low-effort investment experience. Through their connections and expertise, “Equity and Help” is helping investors achieve their financial goals while making a real difference in people’s lives.
How do they do it? What are the benefits of the program? How do they acquire inventory, identify families, and procure investors? What are potential returns and liquidity factors? It’s all explained when you listen to the podcast.
But remember: this is not your traditional real estate investment. Each investor owns all of their portfolio properties and “Equity and Help” operates in the role of trustee to manage the investor’s portfolio(s). With workable systems in place that coordinate investor trusts, IRA’s, 401K’s, LLC’s and other legal entities, learn how it may be time for YOU to become the bank … and win!
