Wouldn’t it be great if there was a reality show concentrated on the crowdfunding industry where you could not only learn about the participants, but also invest in the deal in real time? Crazy, right? Well, it’s here. And in this podcast, Darren Marble the executive producer of Going Public® and co-founder of Crush Capital – explains the concept, how it came to be, the ups and downs of developing such a series, how issuers can get involved, and why it’s probably the best example of “out of the box” marketing you’ll see so far when it comes to equity crowdfunding!

Listen to “Watch, Click, Invest – It’s Here (and Crowdfunding Will Never Be the Same)” on Spreaker.

OK, say you’re watching an informative, informational (and perhaps motivating) reality TV show about company founders, their backstories, and the business they have created… perhaps it resonates with you for whatever reason. In the old days, you probably would have just said, “wow, that’s cool!” and return to watching reruns of Law and Order. Not anymore! Mr. Marble’s company has made it possible for you to click and get immediate access to participating in the deal you just watched in real time! While watching his groundbreaking new series, sit back, learn something, and maybe even say to yourself “that could be me and my company”!

As mentioned on a previous podcast with Mr. Marble, unlike the target market of many already existing reality shows, Going Public is targeting aspiring entrepreneurs and C-level executives as their core audience. The show’s goal is to produce a diverse in-depth look at promising companies and the story of their founders in an educational manner. But the uniqueness of the venture comes into play where the viewer of the documentary has the opportunity to invest in the deal if they like what they see and hear. Not only is Going Public ahead of its time, but it also shines light on the most important part of crowdfunding: putting your deal in front of the correct audience!

Listen to this podcast as Darren goes over all the ins and outs (and surprises) he’s encountered, and learn how you (and your company) may be featured on an upcoming episode.
